German discount grocery retailer Aldi plans to hire more than 20,000 store and warehouse workers to prepare for holiday-season shopping at U.S. locations, the company said Monday.

Aldi is seeking people to be cashiers, stockers and warehouse associates among other jobs. It said that after a recent wage increase, people hired for the jobs will make between $15 and $19 an hour.

Aldi has 2,100 U.S. stores and 25 warehouses.
